A small, guided ASU course

Make Room for
Your Own Life

For capable adults whose own plans keep coming last.

You work. You care. You keep things going.

But the course you wanted to take, the career move you wanted to make, the time with your children—or simply an evening that belongs to you—keeps waiting.

Give your priority a place

A different arrangement starts with one situation.

This four-week guided ASU course helps you work towards a different arrangement.

Bring one recurring situation from work or family life. We will examine what keeps it going, decide what you want to make room for, and practise the conversations and changes that could make it possible.

You build a practical plan around your actual life, with guided practice and feedback.

What you will work on

Understand. Choose. Practise. Review.

1. Understand the pattern

Recognise responsibilities you have agreed to, assumed or been left carrying. Make the cost and your available support visible.

2. Choose your priority

Decide what deserves a place in your life and what time, support or agreement it needs.

3. Practise a change

Prepare a conversation, ask for clearer ownership or support, and try a feasible next step.

4. Review what happens

Use the result to refine your plan and identify what still requires help, cooperation or another approach.
