ASU talks and workshops

Help your people
give their best.

With room for the lives and responsibilities they carry.

Your people want to do good work. But between work demands, family responsibilities and their own unfinished priorities, they can feel stretched everywhere—and enough nowhere.

How do you help them feel seen, supported and able to move forward, while strengthening their connection to the team and its purpose?

When Capable People Carry Too Much

Responsibility. Purpose. Sustainable contribution.

ASU offers talks and workshops that help people understand what they are carrying, clarify competing priorities and identify the conversations, skills and practical support needed.

We connect personal development with the conditions people work in: responsibilities, resources, decision-making authority and everyday support.

Care becomes practical through listening, recognising contribution, clarifying expectations and making workable arrangements.

Choose the right format

A meaningful conversation. A practical next step.

Speaking session

45-minute talk plus 15 minutes for questions.

An accessible introduction to competing demands, practised responses and the support sustainable contribution requires. Participants identify one recurring demand and a useful next question or action.

Tailored to the audience. Quoted after a brief conversation.

One Loop Map team workshop

Includes an organiser briefing, participant questionnaire, tailored examples, worksheet, team-action summary and a short organiser follow-up.

Workshop fee: AUD990. For in-person delivery, travel, accommodation and any travel-time allowance are agreed in advance. The complete scope and fee are confirmed before booking.

What this can support

Connection with a purpose people can share.

  • Understanding what helps people contribute and belong.
  • Recognising competing responsibilities and their practical cost.
  • Distinguishing skills to develop from work arrangements that need leadership action.
  • Practising clearer requests, listening and coordination.
  • Choosing a feasible action and a way to review it.

Examples can be tailored for staff, leaders, founders, educators, working parents or adult community groups. We agree the audience and purpose before preparing the session.

Personal disclosure is optional. This educational work complements your existing workforce support and specialist services.
